1. Interbank Batch Payment for security trading 

A service operating with a license from the Ministry of Finance and the Bank of Thailand that facilitates cross banks batch payments. This service only allows security-trading transactions between intermediaries (brokers) who have business license from the SEC and be a member of the Thailand Clearing House Co., Ltd. and their retail investors who trade shares on “Cash Account” (T+2).

2. Intrabank Real-time Payment

A service that facilitates the intrabank, transactions are instructed within the same bank, real-time payments (except security trading transactions). Intermediaries make transactions to FinNet in real-time which will be redirected to destination bank to settle deposit and withdrawal.

3. Interbank Real-time Payment

A service that facilitates the interbank, transactions are instructed to cross bank (sending bank and receiving bank are not the same bank), real-time payments (except security trading transactions). Intermediaries make transactions to FinNet in real-time which will be redirected to sending bank for credit the money to other banks.

4. Interbank Real-time Payment

A service that facilitates the interbank, transactions are instructed within the same or different bank, real-time payments (except security trading transactions). Intermediaries make transactions to FinNet in real-time which will be sent to the originating bank (sending bank account) to transfer the money.

5. QR Code Payment

A service that enables investors to simply scan a QR code to make payments to intermediaries by using any bank’s mobile application.

6. Direct Debit Registration (DDR)

A service that allows investors to consent a permission to allow intermediaries to automatically debit from the investor’s bank account online without the need to use a paper form.

Qualifications and conditions 

Membership requirements

Applicants who want to use the FinNet payment system must meet the following requirements:

  • A securities company licensed to conduct securities business in the category of brokerage or as a securities company licensed to establish and manage mutual funds or represent or broker securities in accordance with the rules stipulated in the Securities and Exchange Act. 
  • A company whose securities are listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand in accordance with the rules stipulated in the Securities and Exchange Act.
  • A commercial bank regulated by the Bank of Thailand.

Membership revocation

FinNet may consider suspending the service by canceling the contract in accordance with the method and conditions specified in the contract if the service user fails to meet the following requirements:

  • Not a securities company or is not a securities company licensed to conduct securities business in the category of securities brokerage, or is a securities company that is not licensed or whose license to manage mutual funds has been revoked, or is not an agent or broker in accordance with the Securities and Exchange Act's rules.
  • A listed company that requests that its securities be delisted from the SET or whose securities are delisted from the SET by the rules outlined in the Securities and Exchange Act.
  • Not a commercial bank
