Settrade was established on 13 October 2000 and commenced its operation on 3 November 2000. It is a company within the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) group under the New Business & Infrastructure Development Function. Settrade’s objective is to provide Securities trading system (Online Trading Platform) and investment technology as well as to develop work systems in relation to Securities, Derivatives and Mutual Funds businesses.
Settrade was originally providing online trading system on Personal Computer (PC) via Streaming program. It has further developed Streaming application on mobile phones and tablets. Now, it is the leader in online investment platform for Securities, Derivatives and Mutual Funds, including various work systems that help support the operations of member companies e.g. providing Derivatives Back Office and Online customer on boarding system.

website for investors which contain information to help support investors’ decisions in investing in financial instruments e.g. price information, news from various sources, research and analysis from securities companies and analyst’s opinion on financial projections on listed shares (IAA Consensus), articles and knowledge on investments as well as Virtual Portfolio function that can be used as a tool to practice trading and track returns on investment in the port which can be compared against actual market price; there is also the Back Testing function that can check the returns on the interested Securities or Mutual Funds from the DCA (Dollar Cost Average) investment simulation using historical data to help make investment decisions.
