5 SET’s Businesses The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) is a juristic entity established under the Securities and Exchange Act B.E. 2535 (1992) and regulated by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). SET is the only center for the trading of securities, futures contracts (derivatives) and bonds in Thailand. It is also the one-stop center of securities clearing and settlement, depository and registration, with effective and transparent regulatory processes.
